Combine a Walk with a Relaxing Trip to a Thermal Spa.

 

The newly opened spa at Ax- les-Thermes has the warmest water in the Pyrenees. It is rich in sulphur, silica and sodium and it has been used for centuries to treat illnesses. There is a range of treatments such as massage available or enjoy the sauna, steam-room, Jacuzzi and the pool.

 

 

 

 

 

'Situated at the very heart of the town of  Ax-les-Thermes, at the foot of the AX 3 Domaines resort, the Coulouret Bath (above), supplied with thermal water, will immediately plunge you into a different world, an imaginary universe bringing you back to the Antiquity era, when people knew so well how to magnify the use of hot waters.
In a décor made of marble, colonnades, statues, mural paintings, mosaic... pool after pool, as you like it.
In the big pool, you'll find four integrated alcoves offering all sorts of water games: Jacuzzis, hydro-massaging directional jets, bubble beds, spritzers, geyser... on each side of the columns, a series of baths, also inspired by the Roman model: frigidarium, caldarium and tepidarium.
The two outdoor pools are also equipped with water games and a solarium.
The Irish Roman baths offer relaxation areas around saunas and Turkish baths. Care booths where are given a whole range of modelling to accompany the relaxation offer.
And finally a small water kingdom for children with mini jets and small waterfalls will make of the Couloubret Bath a meeting place for the whole family.
